The VX-264 comes with 128 programmable channels, each that can support simplex or repeater operation and display an 8 character name of that channel for easy selection. With the display you no longer need to remember which channel each department in your business is organized on. Simply turn the top selector until the department name appears in the display window. The Vertex VX-264 is built rugged and reliable for communication in almost any industry with programmable functions you can customize so the VX-264 to fit your needs.The Vertex VX-264 also includes numerous features such as Whisper Mode, Emergency, Lone Worker, and many more.

Safety
Be safe with just a push of a button with VX-260 Series’ emergency alert. Using the Lone Worker timer, you can reset a certain time interval. If the time interval is not reset by the predetermined interval, the radio will automatically switch to Emergency mode and call for help.
