The grey, dual-muff headset mounts on your hardhat and has two microphones on the outside of the earcups to reproduce ambient sound inside the headset. With a noise-reduction rating of 22dB, the headset suppresses harmful sounds, and it also amplifies low sounds, though never to more than 82dB. This model’s easily replaceable ear seals are filled with a liquid and foam combination to provide excellent sealing and comfort, and it has on/off volume control on the earcups.
