This radio supports TDMA dual capacity allowing you to expand the use of your radios without the need for more frequencies. The EVX-S24 is able to also support analog frequencies giving you the option to migrate to digital over time if you have existing analog radios.
The EVX-S24 is also waterproof and dustproof with an IP67 rating. This means the radio is built to the highest rugged specifications allowing it to be submerged in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. If you are working near water this is a feature that will save you money down the road.
This radio comes in either a black or yellow color to allow for covert or hard-to-miss operation. The Motorola EVX-S24 two-way radio offers analog operation in all models. To match the EVX-S24 with other analog radio models, you will need to pay attention to the TX and receive frequencies on each channel as well as the analog DPL and PL privacy codes. EVX-S24DIGITAL
Part of the MOTOTRBO digital line of radios, this radio operates using the TDMA DMR standard. Digital operation using TDMA offers double the capacity of your 12.5 kHz channel, allowing you to use the same frequency on two different radio channels. It is important when matching the EVX-S24 with other models that you match to the same TDMA technology for digital operation.
