IP100FS is an IP-based PC-dispatcher and serves as an additional radio in your network. It handles all types of calls including individual and group calls or text messages. Text messages can be predefined or written as needed. The IP100FS tracks information about the location and usage of each IP100H WiFi radio. You can use this program to see the location of each radio on a map based on what access point they use. The IP100FS also keeps a transition call log and shows the alias of each radio using an access point. The IP100FS is supplied with a USB flash drive for use as a USB hardware key and can be installed to a Windows based tablet, PC as well as laptop PC. The program allows you to create up to 120 shortcut buttons to make various types of calling.
How It All Fits Together
Wireless Local Area Network - A WLAN network is easy to create and manage. ICOM Wireless Network radios can be integrated into your current network or a standalone WLAN system can be constructed to support your radios. Using an IP1000C controller, IP100FS software and convenient access points you can track the location of radios on your network, and provide your employees with seamless, secure communication without having to purchase an FCC licence or install and maintain costly hardware.
The IP100FS acts as a base station in this system and it can utilize an optional handheld or desk microphone. The IP100FS allows a central location to keep track of the entire system, from viewing each radio's locations to sending written or verbal messages to their radios and even updating a radio's settings wirelessly, the IP100FS lets you do it all.
